It has been a truly better year in Stringbabies land. In February I travelled up to the Manchester area to lead a Stringbabies training day and we had 3 more throughout the year led by my colleagues, Yvette, Simon and Audrey, in Somerset, Kent and London.

February was the month of the Music Expo and we shared a stand with the Soundpost; a fantastic company who import and export string instruments and accessories all over the world. We will be repeating this exercise in 2016,
This year we have seen more individuals and schools or music services coming on board with Stringbabies than in any other year.
I was proud to present Stringbabies to delegates at the ESTA summer school in Cheltenham and as it so happened I was also asked to step into the shoes of The lecturer who had been booked to speak on lower strings basics. Later on in the year, I spoke on early years strings teaching at the ESTA national conference in Bolton.
It has been a year full of wonderful surprises but also a year of recovery after the trauma of 2014 and I realise that I should have blogged much more frequently!
So what does 2016 hold…well some things are in the diary including another ESTA event at the Royal Northern College of Music in at the end of January, at which I am leading on teaching notation!
If next year is like this one, I shan’t complain!  Happy New Year to you all.
