At the start of a new month, I am pleased to announce that Stringbabies also has a new partner. Stringbabies will be appearing in Scotland in the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama’s Musicworks centre in North Ayrshire.

This is of course an exciting development and I am looking forward very much to working with teachers on the ground up in the North.

As I write this, I have also had very exciting news from Surrey Arts, where the programme has been expanding at a faster rate than was anticipated. Yvette Madden, the cello teacher who introduced my books to her colleagues at Surrey now heads up the team of Stringbabies teaching staff. Her enthusiasm for teaching in general and the Stringbabies system is immense and highly infectious and I am sure that under her watchful eye, Stringbabies in Surrey will go from strength to strength.
