A Stringbabies [Cellobabies, Violababies and Violinbabies] training day for string teachers [existing and potential].  This will take place in Leybourne, Kent and be led by Yvette Madden (Lead Professional for Strings and Stringbabies co-ordinator at Surrey Arts).

The day will include sessions covering how to use the books, teaching very young children and organising lessons. There will be demonstrations of the methods employed in the Cellobabies, Violababies and Violinbabies systems and the opportunity for discussions with other teachers already using the system.

During the day we will also tell you about the Stringbabies membership programme. This will give teacher members all sorts of benefits & discounts.

Cost

The cost of the workshop [including refreshments and a buffet lunch] is £75 [£50 for undergraduate students].  ESTA members are offered places at a cost of £67. If you belong to ESTA, please write your membership number on the form. . 

Closing date for booking: 1st July 2015. [Refunds cannot be given after that date]

We will have a excellent resource pack on offer.  The pack consists of an A4 magnetic whiteboard, pens, wiper and Stringbabies symbols will be available.  This is great for quickly showing the children new tunes or letting them compose their own!  Prices for this and the books will be forwarded to you after the closing date.
