Violinbabies and Anne

Engaging young children in music making and enabling them to play the violin with as much enjoyment as possible has always been my aim.  Stringbabies provides a coherent and structured approach that develops every aspect of the musical journey.  Above all, it is a really fun way to learn.

My thoughts on teaching music

My aim when I am teaching is for each child to enjoy every lesson and have fun whilst still developing a strong technique.  The skills that they acquire whilst learning an instrument in terms of the focus, discipline and technical requirements will also translate into achievements in other areas of study.

Musical experience

I began playing the violin at the age of 9.  I decided to continue my musical studies at Surrey University where I majored in violin performance.  I have been playing with various local orchestras since then alongside my private teaching.
